Art as a Devotional Path

When I began my journey with intuitive painting, I never imagined that I would fall in love with my work the way I have with this tree.  It’s not just because its a tree, (but that is reason enough).

When I gaze at this Labyrinth tree I am aligned with my original intention when I began to paint.  I remember the power that flows through my body when I am connected and listening within.

This particular painting has me drinking deep.  It is captivating and nourishing to my center.  I need its message.

And every time I gaze upon it, I am struck by how powerful Art is.  Art that is infused with Spirit feeds us.  I feel the Love.  And once again I am shown how much I am moved by the power Divine Presence expresses through our devotion.

Art as a devotional path.  Yeah.

  1. I feel that way when I sing. It isn’t the ‘same’ as nothing permanent is ‘created’ but when I sing a song over and over it becomes imbued with emotion. Each time I sing it, I feel renewed. Some of the intent with songs, like ones sung to process anger, change as I move forward become less and less part of my repertoire and more part of my history. But especially some of the more ‘choral’ pieces the more ‘sacred’ ones continue to remind and inspire my heart and spirit. Awesome painting <3 🙂
